This one’s a little unique and a little special because… it’s my family.

I am a huge proponent of taking annual family photos. And not just for my clients! But for my own family as well. And this year, I knew I exactly what I wanted to do for our annual family photos.

So on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend (which I had off this year!), my little family woke up early, drove out to Glen Haven, and enjoyed the sunrise on the shore of Lake Michigan. Honestly, it was perfect. After the session, we wandered our way through Glen Arbor, enjoying some treats along the way. The whole weekend turned out to be one of those weekends I’d happily relive over and over, and I’m so thankful I have these photos to remember it.

Also I have to give a huge shoutout to my sister, Joy, for coming along with us and helping with the photos that I was in. You’re the best!
