For over a decade, I’ve had the privilege of working as a wedding and portrait photographer in Traverse City and across Northern Michigan (including Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Bay Harbor, Walloon Lake, Glen Arbor, and Charlevoix- just to name a few) and beyond. At heart, I am a storyteller. As I watch my own story unfold, I’ve become more and more convinced that these are the days worth remembering. The ordinary ones. The once-in-a-lifetime ones. All of it.
I’m drawn to people who care deeply. Those who carry childhood summers by the lake in their bones, who cherish long family dinners and golden-hour drives up north, who understand that the most meaningful moments in life are rarely posed. They are felt.
I love working with couples and families who value presence over perfection and who find beauty in what is real and lived-in. When I photograph you, I’m not simply taking pictures. I’m honoring your story, your laughter, your relationships, your traditions, and the quiet gestures that feel like home.

I believe weddings are made of fleeting, extraordinary moments. My work is about holding onto them — preserving your story with care, intention, and imagery that lets you return to how it felt.
Each year, at the same time and in the same place, my little family returns for our annual Christmas tree. The kids grow. The fashions change. The tradition remains.
These photographs are not extraordinary moments. They are ordinary ones that become extraordinary with time. This is what legacy looks like to me. Not perfection, but the faithful return to what matters. The quiet accumulation of memory that makes a life feel full. That’s why I do what I do. To hold onto what would otherwise slip past us.
