Hi! I'm so glad you're here.

I'm Anna Beth (but you can call me Anna), and I have had the privilege of photographing weddings and portraits in Northern Michigan and beyond for the past ten years.

I firmly believe that life is a precious gift, and I count it an immense privilege to be invited into people's lives to document it for them.

At the core, I am a storyteller. And as I watch my own story unfold, I am increasingly convinced that these are the days, and they deserve to be remembered.

It’s About More Than Just Photos

My Philosophy

After photographing hundreds of weddings—and experiencing my own as a bride—I’ve come to realize something: wedding photography isn’t just about capturing how your day looked. It’s about preserving how it felt.

1. Presence Over Perfection—Always.

Fifty years from now, when you’re flipping through your wedding album with your grandkids, what do you want them to see? More than just perfectly posed portraits, imagine them feeling the energy of the day—the uncontainable joy, the belly laughs, the way Grandpa tore up the dance floor, the way your mom’s eyes welled up right before she hugged you. These are the fleeting moments that matter most, and they can only be captured when you’re fully present in them.

2. Your Photographer Shapes More Than Just Your Photos.

Of course, the photos are important—that’s why you’re here! But your photographer plays a much bigger role than just documenting the day. Aside from your wedding party, your photographer is likely the person you’ll spend the most time with. Their presence, energy, and approach will impact how you experience your day. You deserve someone who does more than just take beautiful pictures—you deserve someone who knows when to step back and let a moment unfold, when to guide with gentle direction, and when to simply be a calming presence in the whirlwind of it all.

01. this guy

Marriage is such a gift.

Matt and I have got married in 2017, and if I could relive any day, it would be our wedding day. Hands down.

Although I had been in the industry for a few years at that point, experiencing my own wedding really helped shape how I approach shooting weddings.

Ultimately, a wedding is about people. And about a commitment that lasts far beyond just a day.

02. MY FAMILY

I've been so fortunate to have traveled and experienced many beautiful places and met so many wonderful people in my lifetime. But without a doubt, the best adventure I ever embarked on was welcoming these two little people into the world.

My kids are, in many ways, one of the things that fuels my business. Sure, I want to provide for them and set an example of hard work. But they are also a constant reminder to me of how precious this life is and how much I don't want to let the little moments slip by.

And that's why I'm so passionate about photography- about documenting what life looks like in each stage so that someday we can look back and remember exactly how it felt.

03. my work

Maybe this one seems cliche to say, but it's true.

I believe humans were created to work, and my work truly brings me so much joy and fuels creativity.

And how rewarding is it to provide someone a tangible way to look back and remember life's greatest joys?!

04. experiences

I love to travel and experience new things and places. In fact, I think it goes back to how I was raised. We didn't necessarily have all the latest toys, but we had each other and were immensely rich in experiences. In fact, by the time I was 16, I had spent two summers abroad in Europe. Cool, right?!

Currently, I've been to 18 foreign countries (and over half the states) and hope to keep growing that list. And as I'm looking at these photos, I'm realizing I might also be a closet adrenaline junkie...

These are a few of my favorite things
