Northern Michigan was a dream vacation destination for this family, so it was an absolute honor to be able to provide them with a tangible way to look back and remember this special time together.

Elk Rapids, Michigan

Elk Rapids is easily one of my favorite locations to shoot. From its quaint little downtown and perfectly manicured lawns to its picturesque marina and incredible beaches, it’s got a little bit for everyone- all within walking distance.

For this session, we were originally going to use a cherry orchard to capitalize on one of the area’s special features, but we ended up switching locations to the beach, and I think we made the right call. It was gorgeous!
