Maisey & Brant met in 2013, when they were both freshmen on the track team at Albion College. “I don’t know that I believe in love at first sight, but we both very clearly remember the first time we saw each other, and we have been together ever since.”

From college to grad school to long distance and a global pandemic, these two have been through a lot together, only to find their bond strengthened through it all.

“Our engagement was a complete surprise to me. Brant rented a cabin in the Smokey Mountains for us and Fannie (our corgi- she goes everywhere with us). We spent the weekend hiking, making s’mores by the fire, playing board games, and building core memories. It was wholesome and perfect for us in every way.”

Now, as they look forward to their wedding, Maisey & Brant knew that Northern Michigan would provide the perfect location. “We are both originally from Michigan. Traverse City has always been a very special place for us. We knew wanted to get married up north Michigan.”
