Cate and Jon’s wedding day was a beautiful reflection of everything they hold dear: faith, family, and a love that lights up every room they enter.
Set in Cate’s hometown of Joliet, their day began at her family’s Catholic church. The ceremony, officiated by their dear friend Father John, was filled with reverence, emotion, and heartfelt prayers—a testament to how central their faith is to their story.
After the vows were exchanged, everyone gathered for a cocktail hour in Cate’s parents’ backyard. With live polka music filling the air, guests mingled, shared laughter, and soaked in the warm summer evening.
The celebration continued at the reception, where Cate’s Italian heritage took center stage through an incredible spread of Italian food. A live band kept the dance floor packed all night, and the energy was contagious.
There were heartfelt speeches—especially from the father of the bride, who shared tender memories of Cate growing up, and a touching thank you from Jon that had everyone smiling (and maybe wiping away a few tears).
Just when guests thought the night couldn’t get any better, a surprise fireworks display lit up the sky—one more unforgettable moment to end a day full of them.
Cate and Jon, thank you for welcoming me to witness such a joyful, meaningful celebration. Your kindness, faith, and love for each other were felt in every detail. It was an honor to document this incredible day.
